JAGUAR ANNOUNCES “CONQUEST CASH” PROGRAM
Most people hold a garage sale to get rid of stuff so they can make room for their cars. But for those of us who tend to keep our garages a bit neater, Jaguar may have just changed the concept of “garage sale” a bit. Now it makes sense to get rid of another car to make room for a new Jaguar.
Specifically, we just learned that Jaguar is offering up to $2,000 in Customer Cash incentives to California residents who currently own one of the following makes of vehicle: Acura, Audi, BMW, Cadillac, Infiniti, Lexus, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Tesla, or Volvo. Technically, you don’t have to actually get rid of that other car, but if you own one, Jaguar is encouraging you to contemplate making room in your garage for a new Jaguar XF, XJ, or F-Type.
The program is called “California Conquest Cash” and applies to Jaguars purchased by March 31, 2016. That should give you plenty of time to compare a Jaguar to whatever other car you may have in your garage. Or share the information with a friend who owns one of the above makes.

THE JAGUAR XJ SEDAN
A classic never goes out of style.
There’s no doubt that the breathtaking Jaguar F-Type — a true sports car — steals the show in terms of pure flash and racing design. But nothing challenges the Jaguar XJ sedan for classic styling and prestige.
Consider this: the first XJ model, released in 1968, was the last Jaguar sedan to have received direct involvement from Sir William Lyons, the founder of Jaguar. It’s distinctive lines, bold stance, and elegant interior made it an instant statement among luxury automobiles. That standing remains fully intact with the new 2016 Jaguar XJ.
The subtlety of a Jaguar sedan is, however, not for everyone. Which is what helps the XJ retain its somewhat aloof relationship with some of its more ubiquitous peers. Why you should use your A/C when it’s cold outside.
Air conditioning is for hot weather, right? Absolutely. But there are two reasons you should use it during winter, too.
First, your air conditioning system contains parts that work better when used frequently, such as the compressor clutch. Additionally, there’s a small amount of oil in the system that needs to circulate to keep parts lubricated. The second reason is that your A/C system removes moisture from the air, which will limit the fog that may otherwise form on the inside of your windshield. Don’t forget, you can set the temperature to anything you’d like. “Air conditioning” does always mean “air cooling”
