The largest Land Rover sales event we’ve ever held is about to end. Special incentives from Land Rover — part of their “Season of Adventure” Sales Event — are due to expire on January 3 and Cole European will be ending its special pricing at the same time. The start of the New Year will be when we take inventory of any remaining 2016 models and determine which 2017 models need reordering.
Fortunately, new shipments of 2017 Land Rovers have been arriving in recent days and we’re pleased to offer close to a hundred different, new 2016 and 2017 models in stock and ready for immediate delivery. These vehicles are all available to preview online.
Amazingly, at the time of writing, we have over 20 new 2017 Land Rover Discovery Sports in inventory. As we reported in our October e-newsletter the Discovery Sport has been a very popular vehicle and we were lucky enough to receive a generous supply prior to the start of our event, as well as receive some additional Sports just recently.

One doesn’t typically envision high-performance luxury automobiles gliding through snow, but the performance of today’s Jaguars extends to include adroitly handling snow and ice. The Jaguar XE, XF, XJ, F-Type, and — of course — the F-Pace are all available in All-Wheel Drive (AWD) models.
To prove a point, Jaguar is inviting any interested Jaguar enthusiast to attend the “Ice Academy” in Arjeplog, Sweden, home to breathtaking Scandinavian scenery and some of the coldest temperatures you may ever experience. The purpose? To not only demonstrate how nimble Jaguars can be in these conditions but to also allow you the opportunity to learn how to master driving on ice. Guests will be instructed by professional drivers who are experts in controlling vehicles at high speed on slick surfaces. It promises to be an experience you’ll recount for friends for years to come.

Free Battery Test
Because cold weather is tough on batteries
One of the most frustrating yet easily avoidable mechanical failures is waking to a dead car battery. It’s never a good time for a car that won’t start, but dead batteries are generally discovered first thing in the morning after a cold night. That’s because the chemical reactions needed for batteries to function are slowed in cold temperatures. If a battery gets too cold near the end of its useful life, it will generally give up entirely. A simple battery test can help predict when that might occur.

A Success Story
If you enjoy a good old fashioned American success story, where someone works their way from the proverbial “bottom up”, then you’ll like hearing about Chauncey.
Cole European hired Chauncey when he was just 18 years old and looking for an opportunity he could turn into a career. His first role at our dealership was “Lot Attendant”, which meant just about anything and everything involved with keeping the cars and the display lot looking great and working smoothly. If a car wasn’t looking its best, Chauncey took note and got it to the Detail Crew for their attention. If a TV crew was shooting a commercial and needed a car moved, Chauncey was the go-to guy. If a customer forgot something in the showroom, it was likely Chauncey who made sure it got back to the correct person.
At that point, all he wanted was a consistent pay check and an opportunity to prove he could work.
